Our On Time Guarantee

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

In our industry it is hard to tell how long a job will take until we actually see it and we also have to allow for driving time; but that is no excuse for a cleaning firm to leave you waiting on them all day. This is why we have an on time guarantee at Mr. Steam’s Valley Steam Carpet Clean. Our promise to you is that when we set up your appointment we will give you an hour window for our arrival time; this allows for any unforeseen issues that may arise such as the technician getting stuck in traffic or finding out that the appointment before yours was bigger than anticipated. If the technician sees that he will not be able to make it by the 1st time in that1 hour arrival window we gave you then we will call you at least a half hour ahead of time and let you know that it may be closer to the 2nd time within that 1 hour arrival window before he gets to your home.

What About Dry Cleaning?

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

Compared to hot water extraction, dry cleaning is limited in it’s ability to remove soil. With hot water extraction we are able to get maximum soil and spot removal without saturating the backing of the carpet. It can be especially problematic when there are lots of spots or pet urine. Most times a flushing action is needed which dry cleaning does not provide.

Got Allergies?

Tuesday, March 11th, 2008

Are you suffering from indoor allergies? We have a dust mite treatment to help cure what ailes you. Dust Mite Anti-Allergen is an effective way to control dust mite allergens. This powerful dust mite treatment’s active ingredient is derived from naturally occuring extracts found in certain fruits, seeds, and plants! It works by instantly deactivating the allergen DER pl in house dust mite droppings and by de-naturing and substantially reducing the IgE antibody-binding capacity of this allergen. So what does all of this mean for you? As a result the dust mite is no longer recognized by the body’s immune system and they do not bond with the antibodies sent to destroy them. This bonding process is the cause of the body’s allergic response (the allergy attack).

Hot Water Extraction

Friday, March 7th, 2008

Otherwise known as “steam cleaning”, hot water extraction is the process that most are probably familiar with. Hot water extraction is the correct technical term, not steam cleaning. Actual steam is not used at all. A hot water solution is produced and immediately recovered, creating a “flushing” action on the carpet. The smallest portable machine rented at a grocery store could be called a “steam cleaner”, but a powerful truck mounted machine is obviously more capable.

However, the biggest and most important difference is in the person cleaning the carpet. A trained technician will know what pressure to use, what cleaning products to use, and how to get maximum soil and spot removal without over wetting the carpet or leaving a sticky residue behind. The horror stories of carpet being wet for days is due to operator error, not because “steam” or “hot water extraction” caused it.

Our company is experienced in ALL methods of cleaningand guarantee the most complete, detailed cleaning ever or your money back!
